7th Annual New Partners for Smart Growth
Building Safe, Healthy, and Livable Communities
February 7-19, 2008 Washington, DC

Local Government Commission

"The New Partners conference brings together everyone necessary to make Smart Growth a reality in our communities: planners, engineers, developers, financiers, economists, elected officials, community activists, public health experts, fire chiefs, government regulators and even Smart Growth opponents. It's also one of the few conferences where I know I will always pick up new ideas necessary to move my own practice forward. Always as welcoming to newcomers as it is to established experts, the New Partners conference promotes the fresh ideas and collaborative spirit that keep me coming back every year."

– Jeffrey Tumlin, Partner, Nelson\Nygaard Consulting Associates
