The
2003 New Partners for Smart Growth conference will be held
at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel. The hotel boasts a superb location,
bordering the historic French Quarter, just steps from the Mississippi
River and the Warehouse Arts district. Other major attractions in
the hotel's immediate area include the Aquarium of the Americas,
Harrah's Casino, the Riverwalk Marketplace, and the Louisiana Superdome.
The
special guest room rates for participants of the 2nd Annual New
Partners for Smart Growth conference are $139 Main House (single
or double occupancy), and $169 Club Level (single or double occupancy).
A block of guest rooms has been reserved at these rates until January
9, 2003 (unless the hotel sells out before then). After January
9, the room rate is not guaranteed and is subject to availability.

Airport
Shuttle, Inc., is the official ground transportation for the Louis
Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, and offers convenient
service to and from New Orleans' hotels at a cost of $10.00 per
person, each way. Tickets may be purchased in the baggage claim
area on the ground floor. For return shuttle service to the airport,
please make a reservation at the time you purchase your ticket,
or by calling 888-486-8687 at least twenty-four hours in advance.
Taxi
service is also available from the airport to the Sheraton New Orleans
Hotel at a fixed cost of $28.00 one way for two people. For parties
of more than two, add $12.00 per each additional person.
